7.4 PONYBENCH BPPLUS PNEUMATIC

The operating diagram of the PONYBENCH BPPLUS

pneumatic system is composed as follows:

OPERATION:

When the selector/valve (S1) is operated, the compressed

air coming from the air supply line is sent to the hydraulic

pump unit (GPO) in order to raise the lift. In order to lower

the lift, the selector/valve (S2) must be rotated counter-

clockwise to connect the compressed air coming from the

limit switch (FC) to the hydraulic pump unit (GPO). The

descent of the lift will stop when the limit-switch (FC) is

triggered, and at this point the selector/valve (S2) must be

rotated clockwise in order to complete the descent.

When the selector/valve (S3) also positioned on the

control console is rotated clockwise, the compressed air

coming from the air supply line passes through a fl ow

control valve (VFR) to reach the plunger chambers of the

jack (CA-CB-CD-CE) and triggers the opening of the buffer

support lifting arms.

On the other hand, if the selector/valve (S3) is rotated

counter-clockwise, the jacks (CA-CB-CD-CE) are fed by

the other inlet, thereby closing the buffer support lifting

arms.

The air pressure regulator/lubricator unit is not supplied by

the manufacturer because it is usually an integral part of

the bodyshop’s own compressed air distribution system.
