eCNA Settings (Role Restricted)
The eCNA Settings lets you specify the IP address of an
EPRAD eCNA-10IP located on an external network of the
SMS Server.
The eCNA-10 is an automated cinema system for digital
cinema control.
To access the ECNA
SETTINGS pane, tap
Menu, Maintenance,
eCNA Settings in
sequence. The ECNA
SETTINGS pane
appears.
To specify the IP address, tap the IP Address field. The
Enter Address popup window appears.
To enter a new IP address, tap Clr to clear the current entry,
and then set the new address by tapping the numbers on the
Keypad. When you tap Enter, the new IP address value is
set. When the input is complete, tap Save Settings.
To delete an IP address that has been set, tap Clr and then
tap the Yes button. The IP address changes to “0.0.0.0”.
When entering an IP address in the Enter Address popup
window, be sure to also enter the separator dots (.).
Restart SMS Server
The SMS System allows the operator to Restart the SMS
Server application and, optionally

, execute a System
Shutdown from the Projectionist Terminal. Access to the
System Shutdown function is configured during
installation.
Restart SMS Server Application
Should restarting of the
SMS Server application
become necessary you
can realize this from the
Projectionist Terminal.
To Restart SMS Server,
tap
Menu
and then tap
Restart SMS Server
.
During the process of
restarting the SMS
Server the Projectionist
Terminal will be
insensitive to user input
for a period of up to 4 or
5 minutes. During this period of time the projectionist
Terminal may go blank or only display the Screen
Management System screen (below) without the Login
button. Once the Restart process has completed the normal
Login screen appears.
Login to the Projectionist Terminal and review the various
status screens.
