4.10 Testing PRCD devices (with built-in RCD)

Before starting the measurement, following parameters must be set:
waveform
,
rated RCD current
and
test type
.
Waveform
(shape of the
current):
initial phase positive,
initial phase negative,
both.
In
RCD
select nominal current:
10 mA,
15 mA,
30 mA.
In
Test type
select tests you
want to provide:
Ia,
ta x0.5,
ta x1,
ta x2,
ta x5.
The measurement procedure contains polarity check of the cord.
Connect the tested object to the meter.
