Clean the filter insert of the wet suction device
The automatic separator and sediment container or air jet pump are not
installed in the supply module for wet suction. The separation of air and
water are performed centrally in this case.
However, in order to ensure that larger solid particles cannot enter the
central separating unit, the suction line in the supply module is equipped
with a filter. The filter insert must be cleaned when the suction power
decreases.

Cleaning the suction system
Before the filter insert of the wet suction is cleaned, the suction system
should be cleaned.
If the simulation unit is equipped with the chemical suction hose cleaning
option, see “Vacuum system [ → 173].”
Suctioning off remaining water completely, removing and cleaning the
filter insert
As long as the simulation unit is switched on, water remains in the suction
line for technical reasons. Therefore, in order to clean the filter insert, this
water must be completely extracted beforehand. Otherwise the remaining
water will flow out when the filter housing is opened.
1. Remove side cover A and release the connection for protective
ground wire B.
