Lay the coronal supine head holder onto the positioning
mat at the head end of the patient table.

✧

Position the patient supine.

✧

Ask the patient to slide far enough beyond the edge of the
table at the head end that his or her head is tilted backward
as far as possible.

✧

Immobilize the head with the straps, if necessary.
