Expanding and assigning parameters to the device

6.5 Expansion cards

SIMATIC IPC1047

Operating Instructions, 09/2018, A5E45118479-AA

4. If necessary, open the cable tie

and remove the cables.

5. Loosen the lock on the slot,

remove the graphics card and

carefully place it on the

mounting base.
The modules face upward as

shown.

6. Unscrew the 3 screws and

remove the sheet metal casing.

7. Remove the connectors.

Installation
Proceed in the reverse order for the installation of the graphics card.

NOTICE
Pay attention to the SATA cable connections
Do not interchange the SATA cables during installation. Note the assignment of the SATA

cables to their slots in step 2.

Damaged cables
When hooking in the fan in step 3, ensure that no SATA or fan cables are caught in

between.
