9 Operation at Use of a PC

9.3 Configuration of the Device

Parameterizing a Modbus Slave Device

If you want to change the settings of a Modbus slave device (for example, Modbus slave device 1), proceed as
follows:

In the navigation window, click the

Administrative

menu and the menu item

Modbus slave devices 1-4

Modbus slave devices 5-8

Figure 9-70

Configure tab, Modbus slave devices input/output window, device 1 activated

Activate the device 1.

In the

Parameter

fields, enter the desired values according to Table 9-32.

In the

Mapping

columns, select the settings/activities which have been assigned to the buttons. The

function of the buttons is described in the chapters 8.3.7.4.2 to 8.3.7.4.5..

After the parameterization click

Send

After clicking

Send

, the parameters are transmitted to the device but not enabled yet (passive set of

parameters).

If you do not want to make any additional settings, continue with the

of the device configuration
