the same battery or with a battery of the same type as recommended by the
manufacturer.

7. Close the battery compartment again.
Charging the Battery
The battery can only be charged using the power supply unit while it is installed in
the MOBIC. Follow the steps outlined below:
1. Connect the power supply unit to your MOBIC (connector see Figure 2-2).
2. Connect the power supply unit to the main power supply.
If the battery is fully discharged, charging takes approximately 5.5 hours.
Displays:
Charging is indicated by the red status LED.
The battery charge level is indicated by the battery icon in the status bar when the
device is on.
Note
You can continue to work with the MOBIC while it is being charged.
Charge Level of the Battery
The charge level of the battery is displayed by the battery symbol in the status bar
of the system. If the device is also connected to the main power supply, this is also
indicated.
You can check the charge level of the battery when the device is on as follows:
1. Open the Control Panel (Start - > Settings - > Control Panel)
2. Start the “Power” program”.
In the “Battery” tab, you will see the status of the main battery and backup battery.
You can also display this menu by double-tapping the battery icon in the status bar
of the system.
