MOBIC T8 for Windows CE 3.0

Functional Overview

The MOBIC has various communications functions. With the installed browser, the
user can dial in to the intranet/Internet to get information such as process and
diagnostic data, wiring cubicle documentation, product information, and even
operating instructions.

Various functions can be started using the touchscreen and the freely assignable
function keys (F1 to F5) such as acquiring data or triggering processes and
starting software updates.

Using the mail function of Windows CE, E-mails can be written, sent, and received
on site.

System software is also integrated in the MOBIC allowing simple individual
configuration to the user’s needs (MOBIC Configurator).

With its battery, the MOBIC can be operated for eight hours. The battery can be
replaced without any loss of program data.

The accessories and expansion modules available for your MOBIC are described
in Section 1.4 of this manual.
