Welcome

Congratulations on your purchase of the Mobile Industrial Communicator
(MOBIC).

The Mobile Industrial Communicator is a mobile, industrial Internet pad for local or
worldwide access to an Intranet and the Internet.

The MOBIC is mobile thanks to plug-in wireless cards allowing wireless LAN for
local communication or GSM for worldwide communication.

The MOBIC is designed for an industrial environment and has an extremely robust,
splash-proof construction (corresponding to IP 65).

The high-resolution TFT screen ensures a detailed display and easy reading even
in poor lighting conditions.

The unit is operated simply with a touch screen using a pen or finger and also has
additional function keys.

The standard operating system is Windows CE and the Microsoft Internet Explorer
V4.0 with the Java Virtual Machine as the basic software.
