Assembly
Installation site
●
Comply with the permissible ambient temperature (specification → P. 192, §16.3 ).
●
The installation site must be free from strong vibrations and jolts (specification → P. 192,
§16.3 ).
●
The sampling probe must protrude freely into the process gas flow.

Preparing for assembly

At the installation site install a mounting connection (counterpart to the flange of the
analyzer unit). Ensure that the mounting connection can bear the weight of the analyzer
unit. If necessary support the mounting connection.
Securing
1 Position a flange seal between the mounting connection and the flange of the analyzer
unit.

If the analyzer unit is used for hot processes (> 300 °C): Use the heat insulation
flange instead of the flange seal ( → P. 197, Fig. 41 ).

If the hood for weather protection is to be fitted: Fit the installation plate of the
hood for weather protection between the mounting connection and flange of the
analyzer unit (
→ P. 44, §4.3.3 ).
2 Carefully insert the probe of the analyzer unit through the flange pipe.
3 Connect the flanges with the supplied screw fittings.
NOTICE:
The bypass exhaust gas flow is discharged from the surrounding tube of the
sampling probe.

Position the sampling probe so that the exhaust gas can flow freely and is
not drawn in by the sampling probe.

Never install any components so near to the sampling probe that the
EuroFID exhaust gas could be drawn in by the sampling probe.
Otherwise, incorrect values could be measured.
