Specifying the measurement site layout

The third page,

Free Flow Profiler Options

, allows you to define the layout of the

measurement site along with the function of the 2D LiDAR sensors.

•

The

Single Lane

option allows you to configure a profiling system with two

LMS Width

laser scanners mounted overhead on the gantry and one

LMS Length

laser scanner

mounted in the middle. This layout allows you to measure vehicle dimensions and to
classify vehicles.

•

With the

Single Lane with Axle Counting

option, an LMS Width mounted at the side of

the lane also provides the system function for axle counting. The two other 2D LiDAR
sensors are mounted overhead on the gantry.
