HP Heavy-Duty Industrial Tilting Spindle Shaper
To lift and move your shaper, do these steps:
1.
Position lifting straps underneath and around the
shaper, as illustrated in
Figure 4
. Make sure the
straps will not put destructive pressure on any con-
trols, wires, or handles.
2.
Unbolt the shaper from the pallet.
3.
With assistance, move the shaper to the prepared
location.
Note:
For safety, only raise the shaper enough to
clear the pallet, then lower it close to the floor.

to mount your shaper to the floor.
Lifting & Moving
The Model W1807 is a very heavy
machine. Use power lifting equipment
and assistance to remove this machine
from the pallet and position it in your
shop. Inspect all lifting equipment and
make sure that all is in good working
order and is rated for the load before
attempting to lift this shaper. Make sure
the operator is qualified to operate the
power lifting equipment. Ignoring this
warning may result in serious personal
injury or death.
