 HP Heavy-Duty Industrial Tilting Spindle Shaper

Attempting to connect this machine to 

the  power  source  without  a  qualified 

electrician  greatly  increases  the  risk 

of  electrocution,  fire,  or  machine 

damage.

ELECTRICAL

220V/440V 3-Phase 

Operation

The Model W1807 is prewired for 220V 3-phase operation, 

but may be rewired for 440V 3-phase operation (see 

Page 

11

).

This machine must be hardwired to a locking shutoff 

switch by a qualified electrician. Hardwiring involves a 

permanent installation with conduit runs that can only be 

accomplished safely by a qualified electrician. As always, 

observe all applicable electrical codes when connecting 

this machine to power.

This machine must be grounded! Verify the ground before 

connecting this machine to the power source.

source  until  instructed  to  do  so  in  the  "Test  Run" 

portion of this manual.
