USING CONVENIENT

FUNCTIONS 1

How to Use the Relay Request Function

You can use the relay request function to send a relay request to the designated
relay group. You cannot use the relay request function with more than one relay
group at the same time.

In fax mode, press the SENDING OPTIONS key.

Press the "3" key.

Instead of pressing the "3" key you can also press the left arrow key
(

) or right arrow key (

) until this message appears and press the

ENTER key.

After three seconds the following message is displayed.

ENTER GROUP #

GROUP #(01-10) =

Enter the relay group number using the numeric keys.

Example

PRESS START KEY

GROUP #(01-10) =01

Press the START key.

Set the original, select the appropriate original size,
resolution, and exposure, then perform the sending
operation. (See page 2-1)

You can use either direct or memory sending.
