Correcting Speed Dialling Information

Perform steps 1 to 3 in the section "How to Enter Speed
Dialling Information" (See page 2-25), and continue
with step 2 in this section.

Using the numeric keys, press the speed dial number
(000 to 149) that you want to correct.
Example

Press the "1" key.

Select the speed dial key "CHANGE?" option.

The display panel shows the recipient's fax number so you can change
the information.
Example
PRESS START LAST

Enter changes to the recipient's fax number using the
numeric keys.

You can enter a maximum of 40 digits. If you need to enter a pause
between any digits of the number, press the REDIAL/PAUSE key. A
pause that you enter is displayed as a hyphen (-) character.

The pause time is set with a user program. (See page Appendix-6)
●
If you make a mistake entering the number, pressing the CLEAR key
repeatedly erases characters one at a time, and you can re-enter the
characters.

Press the START key.

After changing the fax number stored in the rapid key number, you
can change the recipient's name.
●
The display panel shows the recipient's name so you can change the
information.

Enter changes to the recipient's name using the alphabetic
character entry keys and press the START key.

You can enter a maximum of 20 characters.

For more information about entering characters, refer to the section
"HOW TO ENTER CHARACTERS". (See page 2-37)
CHAIN DIAL
1=SET, 2=CANCEL
You can choose not to change the name by simply
pressing the ENTER key without entering any characters.
