Note

How to Set the Transmission Message

If you want to send a transmission message, you must set it each time you make
a transmission.

In fax mode, press the FUNCTION key, then press the
"3" key.

TX MESSAGE SET

PRESS (1-6)

Instead of pressing the "3" key you can also press the left arrow key
(

) or right arrow key (

) until this message appears and press the

ENTER key.

Press one of the keys from 1 to 6 to select a transmission
message.

1. CONFIDENTIAL
2. PLS. DISTRIBUTE
3. URGENT
4. PLS. CALL BACK
5. IMPORTANT
6. NO MESSAGE

Instead of using the numeric keys, you can also press the left arrow
key (

) or right arrow key (

) until this message appears and press

the ENTER key.

Perform the sending operation.

●

The transmission message function is automatically cleared after the
fax transmission.

Even if the transmission message function is set, it is
cancelled by the following oerations.

●

Pressing the CLEAR ALL key

●

Entering copy mode

●

Using the auto clear function (Please refer to the "User
Programs" section of the copier operation manual.)
