When Using the Original Table
Use the original table for setting originals that cannot be placed in the SPF (for
example, books and OHP film). (See page 1-10)

In fax mode, place the originals on the original table.

Set the pages one at a time, starting with the first page.

Confirm and select the original size. (See page 1-12)

If the original is of a standard size, the appropriate indicator lights up.
If your originals are of a non-standard size, press the ORIGINAL
SIZE ENTER key to select the closest size.

Select the proper resolution and exposure.
(See page 1-14)
●
Initially the resolution is set to STANDARD, the exposure indicator
is not lit, and the fax machine is in the AUTO exposure mode.

Check the MEMORY indicator.
●
If the MEMORY indicator is lit, the fax machine is in memory mode.
(See page 2-6)

Dial the fax number.
●
If you make a mistake, pressing the CLEAR key erases the digits of
the number you entered one at a time.
●
You can also use redial to dial a number again. (See page 1-17)
