HOW TO ENTER CHARACTERS
Enter characters for the recipient's name for rapid keys, speed dial numbers, and group dial keys and also for entering program
names. You can also enter characters in conjunction with the SEARCH DIAL key to search for a fax number. You can select
alphanumeric characters and symbols.
Enter characters when performing the following operations.

Rapid dialling (See page 2-19)

Speed dialling (See page 2-25)

Group dialling (See page 2-31)

Using programs (See page 3-25)
The character entry keys can be used to produce the following characters, and have the following functions.

When entering the recipient's name

Confirm that you are ready to enter characters, and
open the second rapid key overlay.

Press the key that contains the character you want to
enter.

The first character contained in that key is displayed.

To enter lower case characters, press the SHIFT key and then the
character entry key.

The character that the cursor is on is erased.

The character to the left of the cursor is erased.
Moves the cursor to the left.
Moves the cursor the right.
