6.1 Startup notes
INFORMATION
• It is essential to comply with the safety notes during startup.
• Correct project planning for the drive is a prerequisite for successful startup. For
project planning notes, refer to the catalog.
• Before startup, make sure that the drive is undamaged.
• Before startup, remove the point protection film from the nameplates and the LED
displays.
• Check that all protective covers are installed correctly.
• Observe a minimum switch-off time of 2 s for the line contactor K11.
DANGER
Before removing/fitting the electronics cover of MOVIGEAR
®
, you must disconnect the
units from the supply system. Dangerous voltages may still be present for up to 10 min-
utes after disconnection from the supply system.
Severe or fatal injuries from electric shock.
• Disconnect the MOVIGEAR
®
drives from the supply system using an appropriate
external disconnecting device and secure them against unintentional reconnection
to the voltage supply.
• Secure the output shaft against rotation.
• Then wait for at least 10 minutes.
WARNING
The surfaces of MOVIGEAR
®
and of external options can reach high temperatures
during operation.
Danger of burns.
• Do not touch MOVIGEAR
®
and external options until they have sufficiently cooled.
