Transmitting individual parameters via AS-Interface
Communication with AS-Interface Double Slave GLK31A
CTT2 services The GLK31A double slave supports the following acyclical services and the correspond-
ing response telegrams of the CTT2 protocol:
In order to check the communication between the AS-Interface master and the AS-
Interface slave, SEW-EURODRIVE recommends to read out the "ID object" with the
"Read request" service.

For parameterization of the MOVIGEAR
®
inverter, use the "Exchange Request" service.
Alternatively you can use the "Write Request" and "Read Request" services for
parameterization. However, you have to program fixed wait times when programming
the higher-level controller to compensate for telegram runtimes.
The subsequent chapters describe the individual CTT2 services.
A prerequisite for the transmission of parameters using CTT2 services is a basic
knowledge of the CTT2 and MOVILINK
®
protocols.
