Install air ducts with screw-type clips
Note
♦
Hose unions and air intake pipes/hoses must be free of oil and
grease when installing.
♦
Secure all hose connections with the hose clips corresponding
to original equipment ⇒ Electronic parts catalogue .
Specified torques
1 - Hose clip -a- = 13 mm wide: 5.5 Nm
2 - Hose clip -b- = 9 mm wide: 3 Nm

Removing and installing the air intake

♦ Release tool - T10527-
♦ Release tool - T10527/1-
Removing
– Move clear vacuum hose at air intake pipe -2-.
Note
The catch -arrow- for the vacuum hose -1- does not need to be
released for this procedure.
– Move clear air hoses at charge air pipe.
– Open hose clips -arrows-, and remove air hose -1-.
– Pull connector off charge pressure sender - GX26- .
Note
Make sure to use the new tools to prevent the locking lugs of the
air intake pipe from breaking off.
