Example Setting a Switch Point Reference for a Video Input
The following examples describe how to select the switch point reference for one or more of
the video inputs in the matrix. For information on references and switch points see the Sirius
800 User Manual.
1. From the Routers tab click on the Advanced Configuration expand button and
then click the References... button.
2. The Switch Point Editor screen is displayed.
3. The switch points can be selected individually for each input or all of the inputs can be
set to use the same switch point reference.
Setting an Individual Switch Point for a Video Input
1. Select the video input to be set by clicking on it. Once selected open the drop down
list as shown in Fig 49.
2. Select the required Switch Point for the input from the drop down list.
3. Repeat as required for the other inputs and then click the OK button to finish.
4. Any configuration changes must be pushed from the Workbench computer to the
router control module. See section for 11.5.4 details.
Setting a Common Switch Point for all Video Inputs
1. Select the switch point for all of the video inputs by opening the Set drop down list at
the bottom of the Switch Point Editor screen.
2. Click the Set All button to assign the selected switch point to all of the video inputs in
the matrix.
3. Any configuration changes must be pushed from the Workbench computer to the
router control module. See section for 11.5.4 details.

Note:
This setting will overwrite any individual selections already made.
