2) Write
Write is the default state of all the three trace. In this mode the wave is continuously refreshed.
3) View
Pressing “View” soft-key, the current active trace will be hold. Change to other trace and user can see the changes of the
wave with the different parameter settings. Fig.3.30 gives an example of “View” soft-key. The trace A is in the “View”
state and the reference level of it is 68.8 dBµV. When change the reference to 88.8 dBµV, only the trace in “Write”
Mode changed, while trace “A” keeps unchanged.
4) Blank
Erase the display of the selected trace.
5) Max Hold
“Max Hold” mode is similar to “Write” Mode, but the wave shown on the screen will keep the largest value comparing
with the history after “Max Hold” mode is selected.
6) Min Hold
"Min Hold" is similar to "Max Hold", it saves the level value of the lowest points.
4. Detector Mode
The S5800E series have 5 detector modes.
1) Sample
Detector sample the data point in the middle time of VBW filter’s output of each sweep point, and displayed it. It is
more suitable to view the noise.
