6.1.1.

X AXLE

The X axle is driven by a servomotor equipped with plugs. The geared belt is
tensioned by moving the tension roller set that is the farthest away from the

motor.

The mechanical zero setting between fingers X1 and X2 is obtained by moving

the tension roll that is closest to the motor.

Moving the tension roll set will only change the position of the X1 finger. When
the tension roll set is moved up, the X1 measurement will become bigger.

Moving the set 1mm will result in an X1 measurement shift of 0.1mm.

The X axle position is set, during the start-up of the machine, by stopping
against a mechanical limiter using a reduced torque control. Next, the

initialization point is set on the motor’s resolver.
