Instruction manual SafanDarley E-Brake Premium 100-3100 100Pr 2019

Put the mode switch to and fro in “Service” position. The force of the upper
beam springs will cause the upper beam to go upwards slowly.

In this way the belt will not come loose.
The belts can be tightened with a hex key (size: 12 mm or 17 mm). To

tighten the drive belts, both shafts of the gearbox (above the motor)
should be turned. See the sticker near the two motors for the correct

turning direction.
Put the mode switch back in position for production.

Push the reset push button and then push the main drive on button.

3.2.1.

UPPER BEAM IN TILTED POSITION



Upper beam in tilted position:

Put the mode switch to and fro in “Service” position. The force of the
upper beam springs will cause the upper beam to go upwards slowly.
In this way the belt will not come loose.

3.2.2.

WORKING OF THE CONTROL PANEL

1.

Push button/indicator light main drive on-off
This element is button and indicator light together. The push button is

used to switch on or off the main drive. Indicator light main drive on will
light up when the drive is powered. Emergency stop and interlocking are
engaged and all axes are under power.

After the main drive is switched off, it takes 9 seconds before the main
drive can be switched on again

2.

Reset push button/indicator light
This element is button and indicator light together. The button function is

a reset function.
The light indicates the status of the machine. See chapter 8.

3.

Mute push button/indicator light
This element is button and indicator light together. The button function is
a mute function. The light indicates the status of the machine. See

chapter 8

4.

Pushbutton/indicator light tool clamping (optional)

These elements are button and indicator light together. The buttons are
used to switch on/off the tool clamping device.

When the tool clamping device has been switched off the press brake
control is blocked in order to avoid mechanical damage.

5.

Emergency stop switch
Use the emergency stop switch to switch off the entire machine. The
movements of the back gauge and the upper beam will be halted

immediately.
The hydraulic tool clamping (option) is switched off.

After an emergency stop the brakes will keep the upper beam in the

emergency position. When the situation allows, unlock the emergency
