At the mute point the light guard will be switched off.
In this position all the movements of the back gauge and upper beam start
when the light guard is interrupted and left 2x. (When switched into Two
break mode the X-axis should, at the first time, be set in position by
operating the foot pedal). Even when the light guard is interrupted during
return stroke, the system will take it to be the first break.
If the light guard is interrupted and left 2x, the upper beam will move
downwards with high speed (approach speed).
Because the light guard is active as safeguard during this part of the stroke
of the upper beam, the maximum closing speed of the upper beam is
allowed to be higher than 10 mm/s.
The light guard may not be interrupted during this movement of the upper
beam.
At mute point the movement of the upper beam will stop and the light
guard will be switched off.
If the foot pedal is pressed, the movement downwards of the upper beam
will start again, but the speed is low now.
The light guard may be interrupted during this part of the movement.
Because the light guard is not active as safeguard during this part of the
stroke of the upper beam, the maximum closing speed is not allowed to be
higher than 10 mm/s.
Position 4:
Foot control with safe speed
In this position all the movements of the back gauge and upper beam start
when the foot pedal is pressed.
Maximum closing speed of the upper beam is 10 mm/s.
The light guard may be interrupted during the whole movement of the
upper beam.
Because the light guard is not active as safeguard, the maximum closing
speed of the upper beam is not allowed to be higher than 10 mm/s.
In case the press brake is used in combination with a robot device, the
mode switch has to be put in this position. The robot device will be in
charge of the functionalities of the press brake. If the operator has to
intervene for example to switch off hydraulic tool clamping, then the mode
switch must be put position 0, 1, 2, 3 or 5.
Attention:
Put the mode switch to and fro in 'Service' position. The force of the upper
beam springs will cause the upper beam to go upwards slowly.
In this way the belt will not come loose.
Position 5: Service position
In this position the main drive is switched off. The brakes of the motors are
released.
