7.3.2 ADJUSTING THE TURN-PLATE SPACER
- Loosen the fixing screws 1 and work on the adjustment screws 2 to loosen the reference nuts.
- Place the cap slide plate 3 at +0.5 mm in relation to the conveyor belt 4 .
- Loosen the screws 5 and the clamps 6 and place one cap at the beginning and one cap at the end of the guides.
- Put the side guides and the upper guides close to the caps inserting a 1 mm shim for the side guides and a 1.5
mm shim for the upper guide.
- Tighten the screws 5 and the clamps 4 .
- Adjust the blowers 7 to ensure a constant thrust of the caps against the spacing starwheel.
- Adjust the blower 8 to help inserting the cap into the starwheel compartment.
