8.4 TROUBLE-SHOOTING

8.4.1

TROUBLE-SHOOTING FOR THE MACHINE

PROBLEM

CAUSE

REMEDY

Turn-plate spacer:

caps jammed.

There are deformed caps in the

channel.

Remove any deformed caps.

Conveyor belt:

caps unstable.

Plastic build-ups that obstruct the

suction channel.

Clean the slots of the slide surface

found below the belt.

Cap reject solenoid valve:

the caps are not properly rejected.

Compressed air too low.

Check air mains pressure given on

the gauge of the pneumatic control

unit.

Deco lamp:

caps on the lamp glass.

- Emergency stop.

- Compressed air too low.

Open the guards of the lamp and

remove the caps.
