RN.341.MY Channel Routing and Presets
The RN.341.MY interfac e card provides 16 input and 16 output channels in MY16-A T emulation mode.
The front panel features a one digit display and a hexadecimal coded rotary switch for local configura-
tion without using a PC.
The rotary switch enables 16 different settings from 0 (zero) to 9 (nine) and from A to F.
Position 0 (zero) of the rotary switch does not provide any channel routing and is reserved.
The remaining 15 settings from 1 (one) to 9 (nine) and A to F each represent a complete routing table
of the 16 channel inputs and outputs.
Channel routing on the RN.341.MY interface card is done in Quads (group of four channels) like in all
other RN. 300 devices. 16 channels are repres ented by 4 (four) Quads.
In order to be stringent in terms of ADD and DROP the RN. 341.MY interface card is looked at from the
RockNet audio network perspective.
A DROP from the RockNet audio net work is an INPUT into the Yamaha host product and an ADD to
the RockNet audio net work is an OUTPUT from the Yamaha host product.
Each of t he 15 presets addresses either the full amount or a portion of the available input and output
channels respectively.
