GROUP EDITOR 5.8.4.5
By choosing this menu item the GROUP EDITOR-window is opened in the actual Workspace.
To manage the plenty of input and output signals comfortably, the user can define unlimited number of
groups for his requirements. In every group unlimited number of signals can be assigned, independent of
the signal type.
The single ports can be found much faster if they are thematically grouped for instance:
Video groups All Video Channels of the complete system
Audio groups All Audio Channels of the complete system
Data groups All data Channels of the complete system
Or the signals will be assigned to input and output groups:
Input signals All input signals of the complete system
Output signals All output signals of the complete system
Or groups with different bandwidths will be created:
SD group All SD input and SD output signals of the complete system
HD group All HD input and HD output signals of the complete system
Or, or, or ...
A definition of these groups is absolutely required for the configuration within the
MATRIX , because only
signals out of user groups are selectable.
