MediorNet User Manual 2.00.0

Node ID Configuration

The tab

Node ID Configuration allows to change the Node ID of a Frame.

The Node ID consists of numbers between 1 and 2.147.483.647. The entered Node ID is displayed in red
characters if entered Node ID is already in use in the network. A valid Node ID is displayed in black
characters.

After changing a Node ID successfully, the respective Frame is restarted. Thus the Frame will disappear in
MediorWorks until it rebooted.
Changing the Node ID involves a risk to configure 2 Frames with the same Node ID. To prevent this the user
will be informed about this and the changing in executed in two steps.

1) The user selects a Frame, enters a Node ID and clicks on the button

Replace Node ID.

2) A dialog appears and needs to be confirmed by the user.
