MediorNet User Manual 2.00.0

Ventilation

The MN-Compact devices are equipped with 2 fans on the left and right side.
The air flows from the left side through a dust filter to the right side.

If the status LED is orange, ensure the dust filter is clean and the air flow through the ventilation
opening on the left and right side of the Frame is not blocked.

RockNet

MN-Compact-PLUS and -PRO provide an up-link and down-link CAT5 connector for Riedel RockNet digital
Audio network. This provides a maximum Audio break-out of up to 128 channels. RockNet provides a
redundant CAT5 ring network for the distribution of Audio and delivers state-of-the-art Audio interfacing for
any MediorNet installation.

MN-Compact does not provide

rem ote power for the RockNet ring.

For further configuration please refer to the RockNet manual.
