5.8.4.8

This window contains a summary of all links in the MediorNet network.
Next to the name (Channel A & B) is the optical power of the receiver and transmitter in dBm displayed.
The blue line on the left-hand and right-hand side indicates the minimum and maximum receive power of
the SFP. The white line is the actual receive power. These values are also displayed in a tooltip (see figure
Link Overview).

A local-link-loop is given, when an output of a SFP is connected to the input of the same SFP. This case is
indicated in the Link Overview in the respective row by a yellow cell background and red font.

The background of the RX area is green, when the received power is within the limits. The background is
orange, when the difference between actual received power and the limit of the SFP is below 1 dBm. The
background is red, when the limits of the SFP are exceeded.
The Links Usage (in %), the wavelength (in nm) and the distance between the Frames (in meters) is also
displayed. An icon informs if the link is active or no longer present.

This window can be also opened by a context menu, which appears by right clicking on an empty area in
MediorWorks.

The values in this window are permanent updated.

The checked box

Hold Interrupted Links shows also links, that are not present any more.

The font and the

Link Up icon is changing to red. The font and the icon turning back to the default color, if

the link is present again.

The text box in the top right corner lets the user search for specific Channel names A & B. Capitalization is
ignored.

The order of the links can be changed by clicking on the column name.
