How to...

5.6.1

Renaming

By factory default the Name is generated out of the MediorNet Frames serial number. The name of the
Frames, Cards and Channels, as well as every SubChannel, can be modified by double-click on it.

Names can be also changed easily by:

1. selecting the desired Channel with the ARROW-keys on your keyboard
2. Switch to the editor by pressing RETURN key (like double-click)
3. modifying the text
4. close editor by pressing the RETURN key again

It’s also possible to rename by a right-click on the required name. A context menu is displayed. Select the last
option “Configuration”. In this CONFIGURATION-window it is also possible to change the naming.

The CONFIGURATION-window varies, depending on which Card or signal is selected. In the Frame
configuration is an additional field to enter user notes.
