Wiring

The MediorNet-Modular Frame can be deployed in two different ways: in-rack and front rack wiring.
By default the 19” rack mount ears are mounted in that way. The front of the Frame is facing to the user,
hence it provides fast and easy access during installation and changes.
The 19” rack mount ears can be flipped 180° by the user. In this setup the front of the MediorNet Frame faces
inside the rack and the wiring needs to be performed from the backside. This is useful for permanent
installations and once installed it provides protection against accidental changes.

Fiber Wiring

Each fiber link has an useable bandwidth of 3.2 Gbit/s. These 3.2 Gbit/s are divided into 512 timeslots, 6.1
Mbit each.
These segments can be filled with any kind of data such as Video, Audio, intercom and control.

Different types of SFPs are used in the various MediorNet Cards.
Hence, do not switch the SFPs from one Card to another!
