New Workspace

5.8.2.1

The command

New Workspace will open a new, empty Workspace. First the name of this Workspace needs to

be entered. This new Workspace is visible in a tab below the menu bar. This Workspace is user related and
stored only on the local PC.

Restore Default Workspaces

5.8.2.2

The command

Restore Default Workspaces will restore the default Workspaces CONNECTIONS, TOPOLOGY and

ALARM. User defined Workspaces won’t be changed.

Delete Workspace

5.8.2.3

The command

Delete Workspace will delete the actual Workspace without confirmation.

5.8.3

System

In the system menu settings like IP-addresses of Frames, synchronization and system time can be changed.

Network Interface

5.8.3.1

The communication between MediorNet and the attached PC is handled by a 100 Mbit/s Ethernet port. Is a
PC equipped with more than one NIC or further virtual network ports, a definition of the NIC is required,
which is attached to the MediorNet system.
