Water installation requirements
Installation requirements:
Make sure that you have the correct piping. Install and use materials as defined
in the ISSO 87 publication (Quality requirements for water systems in
greenhouses).
Fill the suction pipes fully with water and bleed them of air before using for the
first time.
If drain water is supplied under pressure, then install a pressure reduction
valve and set it to a maximum of 0.5 bar.
If the drain water contains large particles, apply additional pre-filtration. This is
possible by installing a ring filter (55 microns) on the NoNa
+
itself (see
"Filtration (filters)" on page 20). External pre-filtration of the drain water may
be required if the water contains a high level of contaminants.
For fresh water, it is best to use tap water. Other types of water are also
possible, provided that you use pre-filtration (10 microns) and the water is
supplied under pressure.
Prevent pressure loss and ensure that the supply pipe(s) has (have) the correct
diameter in relation to the length of the NoNa
+
and the altitude of the
installation site.
