Important Note regarding the PCU Motor and 6mm Banding
Do the following to ensure good image quality:
When you replace the PCU motor (AX060319A), install all of these parts together:
1. The new PCU motor:
2. The new flywheel assembly: B1544771 or newer
3. The new 3x10 tapping screw: 04513010N or newer
If a customer reports 6mm-pitched banding on a machine produced before the cut-in
S/N listed below, install all of these parts
together:
1. The new flywheel assembly: B1544771 or newer
2. The new 3x10 tapping screw: 04513010N or newer
Note:
To improve the rotation of the PCU motor, and improve image quality, the two discs
of the flywheel assembly are now attached together at the factory. See P/N information
below.
