Production Line
To further ensure that a short circuit does not occur in the B1545408 harness, a visual
inspection of the harness was added.

Note:

Sometimes, the harness can be damaged if it is stored near rotating equipment.

Applied from: February 20, 2006

In the Field

Do the following when you install the shift tray, install the bridge unit, or do maintenance
on the controller box:
1. Be careful not to damage the B1545408 harness.

2. Check the B1545408 harness for damage

If it is damaged, cover the damaged part with electrical tape (see the photo on the

next page).

3. If SC838 occurs, follow the instructions in the Service Manual.
4. If the BICU board or controller board is defective, replace it.
