Specifications for the respective shaft seal can be obtained
from the following sources:
- On the fan data sheet
- In the spare parts list
DANGER
Ineffective shaft seal!
Fatalities or extremely serious injuries resulting from
explosion. Hazard to health as a result of leaking gases.
Damage to the fan.
→ Seal the shaft seal with the impeller at a standstill using
the measures specified as follows:
 Activate the automatic re-lubrication device
(grease injector).
 Replace used or faulty re-lubrication devices.
 Replace damaged or worn sealing rings.
 In the event of damage or the onset of rust,
replace the complete shaft seal.
