<hex error code>
is a value in C language
hexadecimal format that indicates the result of the
attempt to delete the CI.
<error code>
and
<hex error code>
can be
interpreted by converting them to a binary bit
pattern. A value of 1 in any bit position indicates
the error shown in the following table occurred
during the attempt to delete the CI.

Any error encountered is unrecoverable because the
CI is not restored. Any further attempts to
communicate with it will have undetermined results,
and can adversely affect the behavior of the
1260-00C.
