Setting of the Pause Contact for Flow Monitoring

Flow

Monitoring

IMPORTANT

The

fl ow of the sample water must be monitored because varying or faulty readings may

result in case of insuffi cient or no fl ow!

For a DULCOMETER

®

D1C as single unit, the ﬂ ow monitoring is designed as make contact as

standard (default). A cable break cannot be monitored.

For the DULCOMETER

®

D1C of the measuring/control stations DULCOTROL

®

cooling water, this

ﬂ ow monitoring is factory-designed as break contact. In case of cable break or if a certain
minimum ﬂ ow rate to be set is andershot, an alarm is triggered. The controlling goes to “Pause”
and the display of the controller D1C shows “Pause”.

The minimum ﬂ ow rate value can be adjusted by moving the limit value contact at the ﬂ ow meter

to the top and bottom, resp.
For all types of the ﬂ ow monitoring, the alarm relay is activated:
