“ANC Read“: Ancillary Data Reader Functions
TCC70XS is equipped with an Ancillary Data reader. This functionality is used to read ATC
(Ancillary Time Code) according to SMPTE

“Ancillary Time Code” can be of type ATC_LTC and ATC_VITC.
Reader which are disabled cannot transfer data to the “general reader” (“Read“). It is
recommended to enable only those readers which really should be used for the present
application.
Frame Rate
The frame rate of this reader can be set automatically or can be fixed to a
value. Select the appropriate function from the drop

down list. In case of
Auto,
the frame rate will be found out within few seconds, and any changes of
the frame rate can be detected as well.

Use
last
/
first
: There may be more than one ATC data packet present. You can
choose to accept the first or the last of these data packets.
If you just want to check whether there is one data packet or more
(with different time code values), you can switch between “last” and
“first” and watch the reader insertion for changing values.
