In addition to the features detailed in the first chapter within this manual, the PRV-9000
provides advanced features for pro-sumer and professional users. This chapter reviews
functions and abilities beyond standard operation. Skip forward to Chapter 6 to begin
operating the recorder.
Note: When playing DVD discs, the player or the disc may disallow a particular function. If a
function is unsupported or disallowed, either a
(player) or a
(disc) appears on-screen.
5.1 Disc
Searches
To locate a certain point or sequence on a
disc, use one of the Search options. A
disc can be playing or stopped during any
searches. The recorder jumps to the
specified area of the disc and begins
playback.
* Depending upon the disc, searches
using the menu is possible. Press
MENU
on the remote control to
check for this feature.
