Explanation / Action
Either of the following:
No DV input.
Cannot preview because there is no
DV input.
The DV IN/OUT port fails to detect a
signal. This may appear when a blank
section of tape is playing from the
connected camcorder.
Either of the following:
When recording the DV input, the
recording level is automatically set
to 9.
The recording level has been
temporarily set to 9 for the DV Input.
Recording levels 1 through 8 are not
available when recording from the DV
IN/OUT port.
Audio follows [Dual Mono Recording]
setting because the recording level is 32.
When recording (Video mode or VR
set to level 32) from an external input,
audio is recorded in Linear PCM
format. Record using the left or right
channel rather than both channels.
Repairing the disc. Please wait a
moment.
During recording the power was cut.
This message appears when power is
restored.
Could not repair the disc.
The recorder is unable to repair the
disc after power was cut. The contents
of the recording are lost.
Incompatible region number.
The disc’s region code is incompatible
with the recorder’s region code(s) thus
the disc fails to play.
Any of the following:
Cannot record any more titles.
You cannot do this edit with the
currently loaded disc.
Cannot add any more chapter
marks.
The disc data control limit or the
maximum number of chapters/titles
has been reached. Erase title/chapters
or combine chapters.
