Wall mounting the speakers
The f r ont, cente r and su rr ound s p eake r s have a
mounting hole which can be used to mount the
s
p eake r on the wall.
Before mounting
• Remembe r that the s p eake r system is
heavy and that its weight could cause the
sc
r ews to wo r k loose, o r the wall mate r ial to
fail to su pp o r t it, r esulting in the s p eake r
falling. Make su r e that the wall you intend
to mount the s p eake r s on is st r ong enough
to su pp o r t them. Do not mount on p lywood
o r soft su r face walls.
• Mounting sc r ews a r e not su pp lied. Use
sc r ews suitable fo r the wall mate r ial and
su pp o r t the weight of the s p eake r .

• If you a r e unsu r e of the qualities and
st r ength of the wall, consult a pr ofessional
fo r advice.
• Pionee r is not r es p onsible fo r any
accidents o r damage that r esult f r om
im pr o p e r installation.
Additional notes on speaker
placement
• Install the main f r ont left and r ight
s p eake r s at an equal distance f r om the TV.
• When using the Standa r d su rr ound setu p ,
install the su rr ound s p eake r s slightly
above ea r level fo r o p timum effect.
Precautions:
• When installing the cente r s p eake r on to p
of the TV, be su r e to secu r e it with ta p e o r
some othe r suitable means. Othe r wise, the
s p eake r may fall f r om the TV due to
exte r nal shocks such as ea r thquakes,
endange r ing those nea r by o r damaging
the s p eake r .
• The f r ont, cente r and su rr ound s p eake r s
su pp lied with this system a r e magnetically
shielded. Howeve r , de p ending on the
installation location, colo r disto r tion may
occu r if the s p eake r is installed ext r emely
close to the sc r een of a television set. If this
case ha pp ens, tu r n the p owe r switch of the
television set OFF, and tu r n it ON afte r 15
min. to 30 min. If the pr oblem p e r sists,
p lace the s p eake r system away f r om the
television set.
• The subwoofe r is not magnetically shielded
and so should not be p laced nea r a TV o r
monito r . Magnetic sto r age media (such as
flo pp y discs and ta p e o r video cassettes)
should also not be ke p t close to the
subwoofe r .
• Do not attach the subwoofe r to the wall o r
ceiling. They may fall off and cause inju r y.
