Deicing / Anti-icing the Landing Gear

CAUTION

The application of deicing / anti-icing fluid in the landing gear must be kept to a
minimum. Deicing / anti-icing fluid must not be directed onto the brakes and
wheels.

With a brush, remove the build-up of slush, ice or the accumulation of blown snow from
the landing gear.

Where contamination deposits have bonded to surfaces, these can be removed by
spraying with deicing / anti-icing fluid.
