Apply rain repellent coating to the MPG windshields
WARNING
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE THE HOT SOLUTION. THE HOT SOLUTION CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND / OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING
PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, GLOVES, PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND A
RESPIRATOR BEFORE YOU APPLY RAIN REPELLENT. THIS WILL HELP PREVENT
DEATH OR INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
CAUTION
DO NOT LET ISOPROPANOL TOUCH THE WEATHER SEAL. ISOPROPANOL CAN
CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE WEATHER SEAL.
CAUTION
THE FLIGHT COMPARTMENT WINDOWS HAVE AN ANTISTATIC LAYER ON THE
OUTER SURFACE. POLISH THE WINDOWS EVENLY A MAXIMUM OF TWO TIMES. IF
THE WINDOWS ARE POLISHED TOO MUCH THE ANTISTATIC LAYER CAN BE
DAMAGED.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE OTHER SOLVENT OR ABRASIVE MATERIAL. IT CAN CAUSE
DAMAGE TO THE WINDSHIELD AND / OR AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE.
Note
Only Masterkit, Surfex 100 repellent and PPG Quick Application Kit DSS4200 (for
application see 4.3.2.) are approved for use on MPG windshields.
