mDSL Port Information window

DTE Rate (Local Status) (dteRateMdsl)

Displays the data rate of the mDSL modem link.

DTE Rate (Remote Status) (dteRateMdsl)

The rates are the same as those listed in section, “DTE Rate (Local Status) (dteRateMdsl)”.

Framer Mode (Local Status) (framerModeMdsl)

The Framer can function in two different states:

•

framerModeG704(0)—Used if the T1/E1 Egress Card or V.35 serial Egress card is being used at data rates
less than or equal to 2.048 Mbps.

•

framerModeNormal(1)—Used if the V.35 serial egress card is operating at a data rate greater than 2.048
Mbps.

This setting is configured automatically by the DACS.

Framer Mode (Remote Status) (remoteframerModeMdsl)

The Model 3095 will read the remote modem’s Framer Mode. Normally you will not configure this parameter
from the 3095. The states for the remote modem are:

•

framerModeG704(1)—Used for remote modems having the /K interface.

•

framerModeNormal(3)—Used for remote modems having the /C (V.35), /D (X.21), or /I (Ethernet) inter-
faces.

•

notavailable(50)—This state appears if there is no DSL link or before the DSL link reaches the dataSync
state.

•

dteRate768(14)—768 kbps

•

dteRate1472(25)—1472 kbps

•

dteRate128(4)—128 kbps

•

dteRate832(15)—832 kbps
